Can I first create notes or a melody with Dubler 2 and then record the filters that I previously selected via Map? So that I don’t overwrite everything again. Is there a tutorial on this topic I could look at?
Hi Benny! Yes you can control effects and parameters without recording pitch information. If you’re working in Ableton, MIDI mappings are independent from active track recordings so you can un-arm the track via the red button at the bottom. This means the track won’t be taking pitch information from Dubler, but the MIDI mapping will still be active!
We unfortunately don’t have a video tutorial for this but let me know if you need any help setting it up
