Hello, I want to learn to use this application. My first question is how does one change the trigger (I guess that’s what it is), from drums to something else?
Hi Mike,
A trigger is just a sound associated with a MIDI note. So for example a ‘ch’ sound with your voice can be assigned to any MIDI note of your choosing. You can then use this MIDI note to trigger sounds in any other software or hardware. Whilst this is intended for use with Drums it’s by no means restricted to that
How to do this depends on what you are using Dubler with, if you can give more details on your setup I can guide you through in more detail how to adjust and configure your triggers
Okay, I have a Presonus 16.0.2 and Windows 10, I use Tracktion’s Waveform 11 as my DAW. My mic is a MXL 770. I write and produce songs and am interested in what Dubler 2 can add to my abilities. When I open Dubler, I see Your Profiles. When I create a new profile, the only instrument sound I can make is drums. I don’t know how to get it to make other sounds.
If you haven’t seen it already I’d recommend watching our latest full walkthrough
It should guide you through the basics of how Dubler works and how to use pitch as well as drums. If you’re still having some issues after this let me know and I can look into some instructions specifically with Tracktion Waveform as I don’t believe we have any tutorials for that DAW yet
OK, I got nowhere trying to get Dubler 2 working in Tracktion’s Waveform 11. So since I have a Presonus 16.0.2 and I saw you had a video specific to Studio One, I bought Studio One version 7. Now I tried to follow along, but when it got to 2:40 in the video where I am to select a drum kit, Presence has no presets listed. Do you know Ihow I can fix that?
Got that fixed.
I would still like to use Vochlea in Tracktion Waveform 11.
I have gotten it to record MIDI from Dubler 2, but I get an error message that says
"This track contains MIDI-generating clips which may be inaudible as it doesn’t output to a MIDI device or a plugin synthesiser.
