How it works, re MIDI and Sounds

Hi all, I’m just about to buy this but wanted to confirm a few things. Does it just generate MIDI data or does the app make sounds as well? I have Cubase and plenty of VST’s so it’s not an issue if it doesn’t make sounds but the important thing is it creates MIDI tracks. I haven’t had time to watch too many videos yet so this might be an obvious question.

Hi James, Dubler outputs MIDI information and so allows you to control any VST you like within Cubase. It does have a limited number of in-built sounds but it’s main purpose is a MIDI controller for your DAW. You can think of it just like a standard MIDI keyboard, but controlled with your voice!
