Can one use Dubler with a musical instrument, in my case saxophone, instead of voice?
Hi, whilst Dubler is only intended for use with the voice you can definitely experiment with other instruments as an input. You can calibrate any mic so if you wanted to use a saxophone you would want to make sure you have a good mic set up ideally through an interface, and you can set this as your input in the software.
It may take a bit of tweaking to get the best results but in theory brass instruments like a saxophone should work well in higher registers where the pitch is particuarly ‘clean.’ If you have any questions about using instruments or need any setup help let me know!
