Can I use the Vochlea mic for recording vocals? Is it any good?
Hi, whilst the mic can be used to recorded audio it is only intended for use as a MIDI controller and so the audio quality won’t compare to more professional mics out there. That being said it’s not terrible and is fine for recording sketches or live performances. It’s also worth mentioning that on Windows you can’t use the mic to record audio and control MIDI tracks at the same time. It can either be used by the Dubler app to convert audio to MIDI OR your DAW to record audio. This is isn’t an issue on Mac, but let me know if you have any questions!
